The Knights of Columbus has undertaken many pro-life programs in support of the Catholic Church and the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops' (USCCB). Among the life issues addressed by the Catholic Church today are abortion, human sexuality, infertility procedures, cloning, stem cell research, euthanasia and the death penalty.
Council 10205 actively seeks to educate and convert hearts and minds on these issues by:
Supporting the Knights of Columbus Respect Life Program
Placing Respect Life Articles in our Centurion Newsletter
Discussing Respect Life Issues at our Business Meetings
Supporting St Thomas More Parish Respect Life Committee Activities
Praying at Planned Parenthood:
On the third Saturday of every month (regardless of weather conditions) a Catholic group meets at the Planned Parenthood location at E. 38th Avenue & Pontiac Street in Denver. The prayers which start around 7:30 am normally include some preliminary songs and then 15 decades of the Rosary using meditations from Priests for Life, finishing with more songs, prayers and announcements. Prayer concludes around 9:00 am.
"The Gospel of life is at the heart of Jesus' message. Lovingly received day after day by the Church, it is to be preached with dauntless fidelity as "good news" to the people of every age and culture."
